I snapped the picture while being the anchor for Ed Linsay's Elephant kite. Mike Moseman taught his Kichi Tako kite at Ft. Worden this year.  I have mentioned Ft. Worden Kitemakers Conference several times. It is a wonderful weekend which you, too, can attend, make kites, smooze, and learn from master kitemakers and fliers, and simply have a really good time.
